Supporting Mirta
I have decided to donate all hats, scarves, and blankets to a woman recently diagnosed with cancer. Not only will I donate items to her while she goes through her recovery — each awareness ribbon sold for $5 will go directly to her for medical expenses. If you are interested in donating blue yarn (her favorite color), I am asking for yarn donations to help me make more items for her. Her name is Mirta, and she is someone close to my heart.
Our Charitable Partners
Loops of Love is growing into a foundation that supports causes close to Mandy’s heart. In addition to helping Mirta, charitable options include:
- American Heart Association
- American Cancer Society
- Local food pantries
- Homeless shelters
Mandy will be making hats for the homeless and cancer awareness hats. Each ribbon sold goes to Mirta in her time of care, while the warmth of every handmade piece reaches even further into the community.
The Bigger Vision
Eventually, Loops of Love will be a hub for collecting charitable handmade items to be distributed to those needing extra love — made with care. As the business grows, Mandy’s goal is to make a real difference through her products and charitable outreach, wrapping people in comfort, dignity, and hope.
